Coding Programs

I have always thought about doing something in the lines of actual coding advice. I’m not all that great when it comes to actually telling someone what they should do to better their code.

All of my code seems to be quite hack and slash. Just like my gaming. I try to finess it and create pretty code but it just ends up looking like spagetti when I am done.

Fortunately the tools out there today make even your spagetti code look good at times. There are two programs I use pretty extensively for coding.

The one I use the most is Microsoft Visual .Net. It will give you the ability to just about code anything you want if you know how to use it. Unfortunately, I do not know how to use it very well. Of course, I really have not tried all that hard either. But it will work for coding webpages to creating your next must have application.

When I get into programmin in Php I will use Visual .Net most of the time. I have found several other programs which are nice as well and not quite as resource intensive as Visual .Net. The one I liked the best is Php Designer 2005.

This is a great progam. It does not just do Php but most other web scripting languages as well. Great interface for keeping you straight and from making silly syntax errors. If you can not afford to purchase Visual .Net and want something that works well for web programming, I highly recommend using it.
