Another IE Flaw found

It is kind of sad that IE has so many flaws in it that Microsoft has a difficult time making sure that it is updated quickly. The latest flaw comes with this news

“This design flaw in IE allows an attacker to retrieve private user data or execute operations on the user’s behalf on remote domains,” Gillon wrote in his description of the attack method. He crafted a Web page that–when viewed in IE on a computer with Google Desktop installed–uses the search tool and returns results for the query “password.”… News.com

Just another reason to go ahead and get Firefox. It doesn’t have this problem.

From the sounds of it, the flaw is with how IE handles CSS(Cascading Style Sheets). That is what most sites use to give their site a unique feel to them. And makes it real easy for the site to change things without editing many different pages.

I switched to Firefox a long time ago. With the Tabbed browsing and popup blocker, I find that it is much nicer to use. Granted, it won’t be able to do some of the things that you can do with IE but that’s because Microsoft doesn’t want to give out enough information so that their competition can do the same things.

It is time for you to switch. Firefox has approximately 10% of the current browser market. Lets send Microsoft a nice little message telling them that they need to fix their browser a bit quicker and give us what we really want. Install Firefox with the google toolbar today. It is quicker and more efficient.
