Movie Review - Mission Impossible 3
I actually saw Mission Impossible 3 last weekend. Just haven’t really had all that much time to do anything all week until this weekend.
This is a typical Tom Cruise movie. Great action with him being the central character. I don’t think there was a dull moment the entire time we watched it.
Like most of my posts, I won’t go into detail too much about the movie.
The short version of this movie is that he gets married. His wife doesn’t know he is an agent(kind of reminds you of Mr & Mrs Smith). His wife is captured and used against him to gain something for organized crime. He gets it. Kills the bad guys and rescues his wife.
There are lots of little twists and turns that hint to a bigger picture the entire time you are watching. Several points in the movie you think you have it figured out and along comes a new fact that throws your theory out the door and forces you to form a new theory.
My friends said that some of the things were pretty obvious. I honestly didn’t think so. But I was looking for entertainment and not trying to figure out who it was the entire movie. So it could be that I just missed the clues. Or obvious fact.
The main bad guy was rather ruthless. I was rather pleased with the way he met his demise in the end. Though I was a bit disappointed in the way some of the others were dispatched. The mole in the agency was (according to my friends) rather obvious once he showed up.
All in all, I thought the movie was a great movie. It wasn’t something so spectacular that it required a full price but if I had missed the matinee I would have paid full price.
I give this the Full Price Rating. See it in the matinee if you can but it will be worth paying full price to see if you haven’t already seen it. Plenty of action for you guys.
