Dannic, The Prince of Cats

Yep, had to go see this one.  I’m a big fan of Spiderman.  Have quite a few of the comics from when I was a kid.  That was some time ago.

The movie is quite long if you didn’t already know or see it.  Somewhere around two hours and twenty minutes.   Not too extremely long but longer than most other movies of just under two hours.

We went to see it with the guys.  It was a guys day saturday.  Caught the early show at 10am so I could get some camping in later when the daughter got back from the water park.  Great day for both really.

I thought the movie was a good Spiderman movie.  It had its sappy moments and quite a bit of action moments.  They managed to get in some cool things like the Venom suit.  Not the way the comics did it but it works.  They even introduced a new villian and killed one off.  Won’t tell you what happened just in case you haven’t seen it.

Though I will have to say I was severely disappointed in part of it.  Again, I am not going to say just in case I give something away that you don’t want to know.

Overall, the movie was a good movie.  I think it would have been worth actually seeing at full price if I had gone to a late show even.  I recommend seeing it if you haven’t already.  You will enjoy the action but may be bored with the slow sappy scenes.  Then again, the opposite may be true.  Who knows.
