One of the local Gods of the Realm causing you fits? Get even with him. Send Guido over to make sure they sleep with the fishes one night. He is very professional and can keep quiet if you want him to.

Once we reach the goal for the month there are several things which will happen.

First, Everyone will gain extra forest fights.

Second, Everyone will get a discount with the healer.

Third, Everyone will gain a battle buff.

The first two increase with the percentage over the goal.

This server is very expensive but it keeps your playing experience one of the best out there. Please see if you can help pay for the server by donating today. Even as little as the cost of a kids meal at your favorite fast food restaurant is highly appreciated.

When we go too long without meeting the goal I have to foot the bill of the dedicated server. I can't do that too often. We tried shared hosting before and, frankly, it sucked for large numbers of players.

Sorry it is kind of late but Happy 4th of July everyone. A friend came from down south of us and we have been visiting with him for a bit. Should get back to somewhat of a normal schedule here soon.

Dragon Location

I have modified the Dragon Cave so that it should appear in only certain places.

The new code should make it so that it doesn't show up in the places you do not have access to.

If you are a fast leveler and notice that the dragon seems to be in the same place all the time or you are still having to petition to find the dragon let me know.

The code should be working but you will want to give it 24 hours before complaining about something being broke. Give it time to start working.

Updated the forums. All of the old posts are gone as well as any user accounts created with the old system.

It was just way to unsecure to continue using. Extremely difficult to modify and import from the old system.

I can save the posts if you remember any in particular you want me to save.

Try to use the same name with the forums that you use here. I might write something to integrate the two accounts somewhat later on.

The menu has been corrected to show the proper link.
New City

There is a new city under construction. I have been working on it off and on for the last month or so. It may be a few more weeks before I am ready to release it completely.

In the mean time, the dragon may occasionally appear in this city. Since no one but myself has access to this city and if you cannot find the dragon, feel free to send a petition asking me to reset the dragon for you if he is in a location you do not have access to. This will happen occasionally until I fix the dragon module to check for this.

Gem Vault

Alright, I added gem vaults to the bank. You cannot transfer gems to other players and you cannot keep gems in the vault through a dragon kill.

To get one of these new gem vaults, you need to vist JCP at the lodge. It is a VIP Service.

Looks like it has all been moved over and is all working once again. Hopefully it wasn't too painful.

Once again, we are being forced to move servers to a new isp. This is due to the current host going out of business.

Good news about the entire deal is that the server we will be moving to will be a faster server. This hasn't been a big issue lately but in the future it may once again become an issue.

Once the server has been set up the game will be suspended until everything is transfered. It should be a relatively painless process but that means that the game will not be playable for a couple hours while everything gets moved and the new nameserver starts resolving correctly.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Hopefully this will be relatively painless.

The hack attempts haven't stopped. I doubt they will anytime soon. However, most of the code that was causing the problems and getting us shut down has been removed.

This is probably why you have seen a new look on the main website. I will be working on getting it into shape and secure over time.

If anyone is half way decent in the area of graphics, I'd appreciate some help in that area. I'm willing to compensate you for your time if you are willing to do the job.

Frankly, I am not all that great at graphics.
Hack Attack

Due to a Hack attack we were down for about 12 hours. Sorry there is nothing I can do about the 12 hours lost.

Unfortunately, this has compromised the server and caused unknown damage to the operating system.

They covered their tracks really well so I don't even really know how they compromised the server.

Unfortunately, this means we will be moving servers. Sometime in the next 48-72 hours probably.

Moving servers means disrupting your game play. I hope it will be at a minimum but I cannot promise that it will be.

Now, there is a good note to this. We will be upgrading to an even faster server with a wider pipe, more memory, and larger drive. An even better machine for the hackers to hack. :) But it will be good for us for a while before that happens.

The game will be backed up before being moved over but between the backup and the time that the new server is resolved you will lose. Nothing I can do about that.

Again, all of this should be happening in the next 48-72 hours.

I would like to thank all of our current and former military members for volunteering to do what they do. If it were not for them, we might not have an internet. We might not have free speech. We might not have the freedom to choose for ourselves.

If you know someone who has served or is serving in the military make sure you thank them for the freedoms they are protecting for you. The job they do isn't easy and is sometimes very dangerous.
